CHRISTMAS BIZARRE EVENT

Wow, you have to read this.

I am excited to announce that the manager of The Lantex Theater, Mr. George Fricke, has just donated to Llano Kitty Fixers a huge number of movie posters that have been stored at The Lantex Theater. These posters are still in the original sleeves meaning that they are well preserved. Some are of recent movies shown here while others are from movies going back for quite a few years. Unless I am mistaken there are posters of movies that were planned to be shown at The Lantex but were not shown for various reasons. AND, rumor has it that there are a few posters of movies that have been made but have not yet been released. These are a true blessing for our cause.

I am not going to even mention a sample of the movies these posters represent. If you are a movie buff or you are looking for a Christmas present for a child who just loved a certain animated movie, you will have to come to our booth this Saturday and Sunday at the Christmas Bizarre, being held at the Llano Courthouse Square from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, to see what we have.

Llano Kitty Fixers members Mark and Linda Hannifin are working hard to sort through these posters, organize them, and put them in an order so that if you have a certain type of movie in mind you will be able to determine if we have the poster you want fairly quickly.

So, to you, George Fricke, and to The Lantex Theater, thank you so much for this magnificent donation to Llano Kitty Fixers and to the cats of Llano County.

HOW TO GET CATS ON A VET RUN

Do you have one or more cats that you own or you are feeding but you want them spayed or neutered as well as vaccinated but you do not know how to get them on one of our vet runs?   The answer is quite simple.  Just call our cat phone at 325-258-7843 and leave your name, phone number, and your best guess on the number of cats you want TNRed.   You will be contacted within a day or two by a member who will get the cats on our list.

Please understand that we have received calls from quite a few folks asking for help which has created a bit of a backlog.  For this reason we will not be able to come trap your cats immediately after your call.  There will be a relatively short wait but once we do get to you we believe you will be satisfied with the extra services that we provide for you and the cats.   Our phone monitor will be happy to explain these services and answer all of your questions.

Remember, the longer you wait to call the more likely the female cats will be presenting you with all those darling little kittens.  So call now and get on our list right away.

AUGUST 23RD JUNK IN THE TRUNK EVENT

Llano Kitty Fixers will have a booth at the Junk in the Trunk event on August 23rd from 8am to noon at the Llano Courthouse Square (Main Street side).   As in the past, we will be offering a variety of items from household goods to sporting goods to tools to electronics and much more.  Here is a chance to grab a great bargain and support our TNR program in Llano County.   While we do have items which will be available for sale, we need more.   This is a chance for anyone and everyone, member or not, who believes in our efforts to humanely control the stray and feral cat population of Llano County through spay and neuter to help yourself and the cats all at the same time.  How?  Well just think of this coming week as spring cleaning.  Go through the house and identify items that have not been used in months, if not years.   If it is not broken and just taking up space, bring it to our booth on August 23rd and donate it to the Llano Kitty Fixers.    While you are there look around and see if you can find something you just cannot live without and snatch it up for a great bargain.  It is a win-win all around.   Please, however, we cannot accept clothing or furniture.

So help us make this event a huge success for the cats.
